3 days until the Boston Marathon

Light swimming this morning with my Masters Group but I skipped the kicking drills. Who wants to do 10x25 on 30 seconds anyway? Great weather helped me turn my recently lazy legs around for my lunchtime run. For the first time in days I felt pretty good. My warm-up mile was 7:40 then I did some intervals. 5 x 3:30 with 2:00 recovery.

To get a litle more time in the sun I took a light bike ride through Union county farmland for an hour. Kept the pace real light.

The plan for the weekend is rest tomorrow and then a light run on Sunday as the GF runs the Boston 5K. I'll probably take a walking tour or something tomorrow. Not ideal for a marathon on Monday but I may not be back to Boston for a while. Gotta take it in a little bit.

No more posts until Tuesday but I'll be running with a camera so there will hopefully be some good Boston Marathon pictures next week.
