Little run with MD this morning. Two loops on the Wooded Trail at Highbanks. I've been off for 4 days so this we a real treat. My calf was tight on lap 2 but not too bad now. Weather was dismal. 41 and sprinkling turning into a rain. I got an hour spinning session done before the run and then a little strength training at my gym with J-Fo.

Glad to see that you are running again. Take it easy, though. A few days off recovering is much better than a few weeks off injured.
J-Fo is a beast in the gym (for a skinny guy). I second DB's motion to start light. 16 weeks from Boston is Dec 29th. Now is the best time to let that calf fully heal.
Don't listen to them, you need to show your calf who's the boss. Hill repeats followed by 20 sets of 20 calf raises, increasing the resistance each set. The ladies love big pasty white calves with scars.
