GS and I made the group run our self today. Everyone else is traveling for the Holidays. The run was nice since we finally got a break from the cold. It was almost 60 degrees by the time we were done. It was 15 - 16 miles, which is probably my longest run since the Columbus Marathon in October. The extra 3 miles or so were definitely noticed. Fortunately for me, we kept the pace manageable and it didn't turn into a race. GS must have known I would have let him run away today. It was probably close to a 7:40 pace I'd guess. About 7:50 on the way out and 7:30 on the return.
MD and Nemo probably took the day off so this will set them back a bit. Later this spring when they are getting it handed to them, it will be because they took today off.
Actually, the run wasn't the tough part of the day's work out. I went to Lifetime to do some shoulder work. Also, the showers are free and I was covered in mud from the run. There is a 30-minute core class I jumped in on that started at 11:45. By 11:50 I was clock watching and starting to cheat on the sets. It was seriously brutal. Some people in the class just bounced right through it. It must be easier after the first couple sessions. Either that or I am a wuss.
Stats

Don't worry, I'm sure the wool socks are at least 3 pounds.
