Long Run Saturday

After much discussion, I settled my weekend training plan. Saturday had a short swim and long run; Sunday was to be hill run and then long ride outside. My trusty Motorola Q chirped at 6:30 on Saturday morning to let me know MD would have to miss the run to take care of the kids. Nemo's daughter had a sleepover and he had to go see "Confessions of a Shopaholic". MD was taking his daughter see it on Monday. They should have had a play date.

The morning started with a 30-minute swim at Life Time. There was no real workout plan, just goof around, lots or pull buoy to save the legs. About 25 minutes into the workout, some lady that apparently bathed in perfume dropped in the lane next to me. It was rough. Again, I hate swimming there.

GS and I started from Wilson Bridge went down to Lane Avenue for some doughnut and then back. It was about 18 miles. I haven’t gone that far in a few weeks but it was a pretty easy pace and we weren’t running through snow. Good morning, I was back home before noon, got a nap and got to finally pick up my old truck. I missed her.

Stats
1500 swim (30 minutes)
18 mile run (2:28 or so…I think I forgot to stop my watch at the water stop)
162 lbs
