Ready for the weekend

Wow, it’s Friday already. I am furiously trading messages with MRC(am) trying to line up this weekend’s plans. We are trying to coordinate a marathon training plan and the IM USA training plan along with 4 individual’s weekend plans. It is a mess.

I was able to slip in 60 minutes on the trainer last night to round out my Thursday. Friday started with a good long swim. I busted through 3000 yard in about an hour. For those working on their swim (Dr DB & Nemo) here is the workout:

300 warm-up (free & stroke)
10 x 50 on 1:00 (free)
6 x 75 on 1:30 kick
8 x 75 on 1:30 pull (25 stroke, 50 pull)
6 x 100 on 1:50 (free)
4 x 50 Drill (hand entry)
350 cool-down (free & stroke)

If life is good, I’m going to try to grab a few miles of running before dinner tonight. We’ll see how that goes.

Stats
3000 swim (60 minutes)
3 mile run (no timing)
161 lbs

Thanks for the info....However, I am liking my Total Immersion lessons. We are up to about 500 yards at a time. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT OVER TRAIN. It is going to be hard to hold back with the competitive nature of you and your training partners.
