Rest Day and Time to Start Packing

Today was a rest day with the exception of a little swim with my Masters Group. Swim felt good and the main set was mostly 75s. I know one of these days I have to start knocking out miles repeats but we'll save that for a while.

The GF and I are starting to pack up. We leave for Rome on Wednesday to start our Giro Adventure. I'm mostly ready to go and reading all that I can so I am up to speed on the race when we land. Should be great. If I do all the long days and only take 1 rest day, I am looking at 600 - 700 km (350 - 420 miles). As long as I don't eat too much pasta, I may come back home with decent fitness.

I'd take this trip even if I knew I would ruin my Ironman race in July but I'm hoping it may help a little. 10 days of riding, resting, little running and eating may be beneficial. I know I'll be inspired.

Stats
2600 yard swim
155 lbs
