MD and I took a long leisurely ride out to Granville today. Nothing to exciting but it was pleasant conversation and the weather, although a little brisk, was sunny. MD is contemplating a new bike but his all Italian plan is getting derailed as he is figuring out that his Powertap hub is Shimano and he won't be able to switch wheels freely with his Shimano equipped P3. Looks like he is back to the drawing board.
I'm still not on the trail of a new bike. The over/under is I will decide on something in the next 48 months. We'll have to see. I decided to keep the Airborne for another year, I just can"t part with the Titanium Beauty. Maybe the P3 will get replaced.
MD has a bit of a calf pull so he bagged the transition run after painfully starting and then hopping around on it for a bit. I rolled over to Hoover to jump on the trail and ran into the GF as she was on her run. She rode with the Tri-Tech group from Hoover so I kept her company for a bit.
The rest of the day will be getting ready for my Giro departure. The GF and I leave for Rome on Wednesday so it's time to start getting clothes washed, bikes in cases and last minute panic. Should be a blast.
Stats
70 mile ride (4:00)
3 mile run (no timing)
155 lbs (I had pizza last night to celebrate my 153 from yesterday)

Nice to see you at Hoover today! I think that was the first time we have ever run together since we started dating . . .
