Summer Solstice

The official Summer Solstice was the 21st I think and the Columbus "Summer Solstice Ride" is actually Tuesday but I opted for a good long day on Monday. The day started around sunrise at 5:45 with a good Masters Swim workout of 2600 yards and then I took a quick run from Hills market for 5 miles.

In the later afternoon, I headed out from my house on the Top of Ohio course and made took the direct route to the Corkscrew Hill at Mad River Mountain Ski Hill. Yes, we have a small ski hill in central Ohio.

My new Felt B2 TTR and I are having a wonderful time together. Photos coming tomorrow. It was a great ride with no wind and plenty of sun and heat. I got a good 76 miles in and made it home by 8:30. Well before sunset. I really like summer in the Midwest.

Stats
2600 yard swim
5 mile run (42:00)
76 mile ride (4:10)
155 lbs
