Last of the Long Rides and Long Runs

GS and I met at Wilson Bridge Sunday morning for a good 90 minute run. We were a little pokey going out. The first 7 were in the 8:30 mile range but we picked it up for a few sub 8:00s on the way in. It was 65 degrees at the start but felt much hotter since the humidity was like 95%. The 12 miles felt good and a wanted to go a bit farther but that is tapering. GS looked good and was going to go for a few more in the afternoon. I think it's because he carbo loaded on Saturday night with a hamburger, a hot dog, and some chicken wings. At least that is what he claimed.

In an effort to make up for Saturday's debacle, I grabbed the TT bike and headed for Bellefountaine (again) after the morning run. I think I could almost ride this blindfolded. Not that I would or anything because that would be extremely dangerous. I turned back at Middleburg to keep the ride under 4 hours. It was supposed to be a quick pace but I didn't feel too springy. I'll blame the morning run.

Stats
12 mile run (1:33)
68 mile ride (3:50)
155 lbs
