Tucson Training Camp Day 1

After a little layover in Phoenix, I drove down to Tucson on Sunday morning. It was a beautiful sunny drive. Just after mid day, I picked up MD at the airport. The skies turned gray and it started to sprinkle as I drove. MD and I decided we try to sneak in an 8 mile run and then plan our Monday ride. We got about 100 yards into our run and the sky opened up and the wind howled. The 35 mph gusts sent us back to the condo. MD thnks his wife may have cursed him. The rest of the afternoon looks like this.

Day 1: Disaster.

Here is the current forecast for Tucson...no laughing. It doesn't look like we are going to be able to go up Lemon this year. Monday's forecast calls for more rain. We are going to drive west until it clears up.
