So good to see you all again! Things are a mess here with MRC(am). The Columbus group is in shambles as we try to wrap up a good/bad/odd running season.

Nance finished already with a very impressive 3:04 in Columbus

MD set a new PR for the half marathon with a 1:20:47 and an AG win but he is in Mumbai. Finely tuned but panicked about loosing fitness

GS is in rehab. After weeks of pain he found that he somehow fractured his femur

Nemo is steady as a rock

I’m beat down and ready for the season to be over

Our Southwest contingent is just starting to come out of the air conditioning. After enduring another long hot summer, they have reemerged ready to start the racing season.

Feebs is 12 weeks out from P.F. Chang’s and getting meticulous about his plan

Dr. DB is taking on his first Ultra this weekend.

The fall seems like “Marathon Season” to me. You can feel it in the air…there are murmurs of Chicago, Marine Corp, New York, Columbus, and Philly. There is PR talk and huge running groups. There are lead-up races and new shoe models. We are breaking out the arm warmers, stocking caps, and light gloves. Morning and evening runs are both in the dark. It’s all good though…we will all soon be showing off all the year’s work.

Every early morning and long afternoon effort will be on display shortly. For those that have good days, it is proof that they did the work. You don’t luck into good race days. You can luck into bad race days. You can underperform your fitness but you can never overperform your fitness.

Lot's more to say but I'm 12+ hours into a Upgrade Project for work. Got 3 hours of sleep so Sunday's long run will be tough. Fortunately MD will be just getting back from India he probably won't be too spunky.

Best wishes to Nemo at Marine Corp Marathon and to Dr. DB on his first 50K.
